The Big Game. Sunday, February 3rd.

San Francisco 49ers vs. the Baltimore Ravens.

Jim Harbaugh vs. John Harbaugh.

If you’re a 49er fan like many of the Swipp Team, this is the day we’ve been waiting for since 1995.

Welcome to the world of the second screen. Don’t just watch the game – swipp it! Swipp makes it easy to get in the game and show your team some love, discuss the commercials, share what you’re eating, and dish about the half-time show.

Ready to play along?

HOW TO GET IN THE GAME
Go to swipperbowl.swipp.com and sign in with your Facebook account. Click through the four tabs; Teams, Refs, Commercials, or Chance:

Teams: Baltimore or San Francisco? Jim or John? Share your reactions and insights on teams and individual players.

Refs: Share the ecstasy and the agony via Swipp by giving the refs anywhere from a +5 to a -5 for any of the calls throughout the game.

Commercials: Which ad will grab the most attention this year? Will car commercials gobble up most of the air time (again), or will there be an upstart/troublemaker a la GoDaddy? Who spent their $4M well?

comercials

Chance: Did Beyonce rock the half-time performance? Are you eating the most amazing pulled pork sandwich? Ever been to New Orleans? Find these topics and more in Chance.

Pick a topic, swipp your thoughts, and look for reactions from people around the world. Share out to Facebook or Twitter and invite your friends to join in the fun!

MOBILE USERS: The Swipper Bowl is best viewed on a laptop/desktop, but you can play along on your mobile device, too. Go straight to http://swipp.com/#!/explore/ to find all the Big Game topics on one page.
It is America’s favorite past-time and we hope the Swipper Bowl brings us all a little closer around the sport we love so much.

Swipper Bowl is an example of what can be built on our API. The Swipper Bowl is what we call a Swipp List, which is an assortment of pre-curated topics summarized under one common theme. We plan on launching more themed Swipp Lists in the coming weeks and making this feature available to the public later this year.
