ccarfi_avatarSwipp is growing! That’s why today we’re thrilled to announce our newest hire: Christopher Carfi. Chris, long considered a thought leader in the area of customer advocacy, engagement and social business, will join Swipp as our Vice President of Platform Products.

Chris comes to Swipp from Ant’s Eye View, the leading social business strategy firm (acquired by PwC), and was previously a Vice President in Edelman Digital’s Silicon Valley office.

Chris was also a co-founder and CEO at Cerado, which was founded in 2002 to provide software and services that enable businesses, organizations and associations to better connect and understand their customer and member communities.

His blog, The Social Customer Manifesto, was named a “Top 25″ marketing blog, and has won numerous other awards including “Top CRM Blog” three separate times. He is also an active contributor to ProjectVRM, based at the Berkman Center at Harvard University, which focuses on improving customer-vendor relationships and is creating tools to equip individuals with tools of both independence and engagement. Chris spent nearly a decade at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a manager at Andersen’s Center for Strategic Technology in Palo Alto, California where he worked with clients to define and implement strategies that connected business needs with opportunities afforded by emerging technologies.

Chris speaks regularly at conferences and is in high demand as a customer experience expert, contributing recently to CRM Magazine (“Boost Brand Advocates and Social Media Influencers“) and PwC’s prestigious Technology Forecast (“Solving Business Problems with Game-Based Design“).

When Chris isn’t building companies/speaking/writing, you can find him spending time with his family, practicing Kuk Sool Won, snowboarding, or listening to Wilco (he is a Chicago native after all). Welcome Chris!
